EEO-1 Will Collect Summary Pay Data using 2017 EEO-1 Reports

EEOC announced today that the 2017 EEO-1 report, due in March 2018, will collect summary employee data added to the annual EEO-1 report. Private employers and federal sub/contractors with 100 or more employees will report summary pay data for its 2017 reporting. Contractors and subcontractors with 50-99 employees will not report summary pay data but will continue to report employees, as they currently do, by EEO-1 category by sex, ethnicity and race.
EEOC does not disclose EEO-1 data for a specific employer but publishes aggregated EEO-1 data in an effort to protect employer confidentiality and employee privacy.

EEOC will offer free webinars on October 20 and 26th.  Technical assistance will also be available through the EEOC’s hotline and email.
