Consultation and Support
Every company has one or two employees that they just know will eventually be a problem. They are always questioning how things are done or making requests outside those that are typical. One day, you know that they will not like your answer to a question, request, or demand and they will go running straight to the union or government to file a complaint.
Since we had business operations experience prior to forming Workplace Dynamics, we know all about this phenomenon. We could write a book about all the strange employee issues that we have heard! Just for fun, here are a couple:
We have an employee who smells. It is so bad that no one wants to work near
her. What should we do?
One of our male employees came to work wearing a dress, heels, and make-up.
He asked us to call him by a female name. The other employees in the
department are upset and refuse to call him by a female name. What should we do?
When you call us, we will give you practical advice based on the following considerations:
- your business dynamics
- past organizational practices
- comparable treatment
- legal ramifications.
We encourage you to call us to talk through these difficult situations so that they don’t lead to a formal charge of discrimination. We are always just a phone call or e-mail away from providing you with sound guidance.
